| Raisin Oatmeal Cookies |

| Ingredients: |
| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| 1/2 | cups | Shortening |
| 2 | | Eggs, beaten |
| 1/4 | cups | Milk |
| 1 2/3 | cups | Oatmeal |
| 1 1/2 | cups | Flour |
| 1 | tsp | Baking Soda |
| 1 | tsp | Cinnamon |
| 1/2 | tsp | Salt |
| 1 | cup | Raisins, plumped in microwave (1 minute) |

| Instructions: |
| 1. | Cream shortening and sugar. |
| 2. | Add beaten eggs and milk. |
| 3. | Combine with oatmeal and raisins and mix well. |
| 4. | Sift together flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. |
| 5. | Add sifted ingredients to wet shortening mixture and beat thoroughly. |
| 6. | Drop on greased cookie sheet. |
| 7. | Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. |
