Ingredients: |
1/2 | cups | Butter or Shortening | 1 1/2 | cups | Sugar | 2 | | Eggs | 2 | cups | Flour | 1 | tsp | Vanilla | 3 | | Bananas, mashed | 1 | cup | Nuts, dusted with flour | 1 | tsp | Baking Soda | 2 | tsp | Baking Powder | 1/4 | tsp | Salt | 1/2 | cups | Milk | | | *To make 3 layers, add 1/4 of everything.* |

Instructions: |
1. | Cream butter and sugar, add 1 egg at a time, beating continually. | 2. | Sift flour, soda, powder, and salt 3 times and add alternately with milk. | 3. | Add mashed bananas, nuts and vanilla. | 4. | Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. |
