Strussel-Filled Coffee Cake |

Ingredients: |
1 1/2 | cups | Flour (a) |
3 | tsp | Baking Powder (a) |
1/4 | tsp | Salt (a) |
3/4 | cups | Sugar (a) |
1/4 | cups | Shortening (a) |
1 | | Egg (a) |
1/2 | cups | Milk (a) |
1 | tsp | Vanilla (a) |
1/2 | cups | Brown Sugar |
2 | tbsp | Flour |
2 | tsp | Cinnamon |
2 | tbsp | Butter, melted |
1/2 | cups | Nuts, chopped |

Instructions: |
1. | Mix all (a) ingredients for cake batter. |
2. | Mix all remaining ingredients for strussel filling. |
3. | Pour half of batter into 8x8x2 inch pan. |
4. | Pour half of filling on top of batter. |
5. | Pour remaining batter and top with remaining filling. |
6. | Bake for 25-30 minutes in an oven a little cooler than 375 degrees. |
