| Banana Bread |
| (One of Grandma's Favorites!) |

| Ingredients: |
| 3/4 | cups | Shortening |
| 1 1/2 | cups | Sugar |
| 3 | | Eggs |
| 5 | | Bananas, crushed |
| 3 | cups | Flour |
| 1 1/2 | tsp | Baking Soda |
| 1/4 | cups | Nuts |
| Sprinkle | | Salt |

| Instructions: |
| 1. | Cream shortening, add sugar. |
| 2. | Beat eggs and stir into creamed mixture. |
| 3. | Beat in bananas, and sift all other ingredients. |
| 4. | Stir sifted ingredients in with nuts. |
| 5. | Pour in greased pan. (Spray only bottom of pan with Pam.) |
| 6. | Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. |
| 7. | Makes 2 loaves. |
