| Peanut Butter Candy |
| (One of Grandma's Favorites!) |

| Ingredients: |
| 3 | cups | Granulated Sugar (cane) |
| 1 | cup | carnation milk |
| 1/2 | cups | Karo |
| 1/2 | lb | Peanut Butter (scant 1 cup) |
| 2 | tbsp | Cocoa |
| 1 | tsp | Vanilla |
| |
| Instructions: |
| 1. | Cook sugar, milk and Karo until it forms a soft ball -- 234 degrees |
| 2. | (Start med. high; turn down to med after starts to boil hard.) |
| 3. | prepare cocoa in coffee cup by adding a little water to make it liquid |
| 4. | Set off. Add cocoa water and put back on and cook until forms soft ball 232 degrees |
| 5. | Set off and remove thermometer. Add peanut butter and vanilla; beat until stiff. |
| 7. | Beat with wooden spoon until it starts to look dry and pour in greased baking dish, let cool -- |
