Peanut Butter Candy
  (One of Grandma's Favorites!)

Ingredients:
3cups Granulated Sugar (cane)
1cup carnation milk
1/2cups Karo
1/2lb Peanut Butter (scant 1 cup)
2tbsp Cocoa
1tsp Vanilla
 
Instructions:
1.  Cook sugar, milk and Karo until it forms a soft ball -- 234 degrees
2.  (Start med. high; turn down to med after starts to boil hard.)
3.  prepare cocoa in coffee cup by adding a little water to make it liquid
4.  Set off. Add cocoa water and put back on and cook until forms soft ball 232 degrees
5.  Set off and remove thermometer. Add peanut butter and vanilla; beat until stiff.
7.  Beat with wooden spoon until it starts to look dry and pour in greased baking dish, let cool --
