| Bran Muffins |

| Ingredients: |
| 2 | cups | Sugar |
| 1 | cup | & 3 Tbsp. Crisco |
| 4 | | Eggs |
| 1 | quart | Buttermilk |
| 2 | cups | All Bran |
| 2 | cups | Boiling Water |
| 4 | cups | Bran Buds |
| 6 | cups | White Flour |
| 5 | tsp | Baking Soda |
| 2 | tsp | Salt |

| Instructions: |
| 1. | Pour boiling water over All Bran. |
| 2. | Cream shortening and sugar - then eggs. |
| 3. | Mix rest of dry ingredients; add buttermilk. |
| 4. | Blend well. |
| 5. | Pour into 4 quart jars. |
| 6. | Chill. |
| 7. | Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. |
| 8. | (Will keep 6 weeks in refrigerator.) |
