| Ingredients: |
| 1/2 | cups | regular rice (not instant) |
| 1/2 | tsp | salt |
| 1 1/2 | tbsp | butter |
| 3/4 | cups | sugar |
| | milk |
| |
| Instructions: |
| 1. | Rinse rice with water before cooking |
| 2. | Add enough water to cover rice well |
| 3. | Add salt and butter |
| 5. | Add just enough milk to cover rice |
| 6. | Cook on low until rice is almost tender |
| 7. | Add sugar, cook just a little longer (taste for sweetness) |
| 8. | Keep adding milk to keep rice "soupy" until rice is tender |
