| Chocolate Waffles (Pecan Cookies ala Mode) |

| Ingredients: |
| 1 | pkg | Chocolate Pudding (small) (a) |
| 1/4 | cups | Sugar (a) |
| 1 | cup | Flour (a) |
| 1 | tsp | Baking Powder (a) |
| 1/2 | tsp | Salt (a) |
| 2 | | Eggs, separated |
| 1/2 | cups | Milk |
| 1/2 | cups | Butter or Margarine |
| 1 | cup | Pecans, chopped (optional) |

| Instructions: |
| 1. | Sift (a) ingredients together |
| 2. | Beat egg yolks with fork and add milk |
| 3. | Melt butter |
| 4. | Put all in flour mixture |
| 5. | Add pecans |
| 6. | Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in last |
| 7. | Fill waffle iron until 1 inch from edge |
| 8. | Serve warm with vanilla ice cream |
