| Ingredients: |
| 3 | cups | Quick Oats, UNcooked (a) |
| 2 | cups | Flour (a) |
| 1 | cup | Brown Sugar (a) |
| 1 | cup | White Sugar (a) |
| 1 large | tsp | Baking Soda (a) |
| 1 large | tsp | Cinnamon (a) |
| 1/2 | tsp | Salt (a) |
| 1 | cup | Raisins |
| 2 | | Eggs, UNbeaten |
| 2/3 | cups | Milk |
| 1 | cup | Shortening or Margarine |
| about 1 1/ | cups | Flour |
| 1/2 | cups | Nuts, chopped |

| Instructions: |
| 1. | Cover raisins with water and bring to a boil, then cool and drain. |
| 2. | Mix all (a) ingredients together and add raisins. |
| 3. | Mix. |
| 4. | Add eggs, milk and shortening; mix well. |
| 5. | Add enough more flour to make it right to bake (about 1 1/2 c.) and add nuts. |
| 6. | Spoon batter onto greased cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar. |
| 7. | Bake at 350 degrees for 9 - 10 minutes. |
