Ingredients: |
1 | cup | Shortening (a) |
1 1/2 | cups | Granulated Sugar (a) |
2 | | Eggs (a) |
2 3/4 | cups | Flour |
2 | tsp | Cream of Tartar |
1 | tsp | Baking Soda |
1/2 | tsp | Salt |
2 | tbsp | Granulated Sugar (b) |
2 | tsp | Cinnamon (b) |

Instructions: |
1. | Mix (a) ingredients together. |
2. | Sift remaining ingredients together and then stir into to sugar mixture. |
3. | Chill dough. |
4. | Roll into balls the size of small walnuts and roll in mixture of (b) ingredients. |
5. | Bake until slightly brown but still soft (8 - 10 minutes) at 350 degrees. |
