Ingredients:
1cup Shortening (a)
1 1/2cups Granulated Sugar (a)
2 Eggs (a)
2 3/4cups Flour
2tsp Cream of Tartar
1tsp Baking Soda
1/2tsp Salt
2tbsp Granulated Sugar (b)
2tsp Cinnamon (b)
 
Instructions:
1.  Mix (a) ingredients together.
2.  Sift remaining ingredients together and then stir into to sugar mixture.
3.  Chill dough.
4.  Roll into balls the size of small walnuts and roll in mixture of (b) ingredients.
5.  Bake until slightly brown but still soft (8 - 10 minutes) at 350 degrees.
