| Ingredients: |
| 3 | cups | Brown Sugar (a) |
| 1 | cup | Butter or Lard (a) |
| 1 | cup | Sour Cream (or 1 c. cream and 1 Tbsp. Vinegar) (a) |
| 1 | tsp | Baking Soda (b) |
| 4 | cups | Flour (b) |
| pinches | Salt (b) |
| 3/4 | cups | Nuts, chopped |

| Instructions: |
| 1. | Cream (a) ingredients together. |
| 2. | Sift (b) ingredients together and add to (a) ingredients. |
| 3. | Stir in nuts. |
| 4. | Drop by spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. |
| 5. | Bake for 8 minutes at 375 degrees. |
