Chocolate Pecan Bars |

Ingredients: |
1 | cup | flour |
2/3 | cups | sugar |
1/2 | cups | cocoa |
1/4 | tsp | salt |
3/4 | cups | butter or margarine, cold |
2 | | eggs |
1 | can | Eagle Bread Mix |
1 1/2 | tsp | maple flavoring |
2 | cups | pecan halves or pieces |

Instructions: |
1. | heat oven to 350 deg |
2. | stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, and salt |
3. | cut in butter until crumbly |
4. | stir in 1 beaten egg |
5. | press mixture evenly on bottom of 13 x 9 ungreased pan |
6. | bake at 350 deg for 25 min |
7. | in medium bowl, beat milk, remaining egg, and flavoring |
8. | stir in pecans |
9. | pour over prepared crust and distribute pecans evenly |
10. | bake 25 more minutes until golden |
11. | cool in pan, cut into bars, serve room temperature |
