| Ingredients: |
| 2 | cups | Flour |
| 2 | cups | Sugar |
| 1 | tsp | Cinnamon |
| 2 | tsp | Baking Soda |
| 1 | pinch | Salt |
| 1 | cup | Oleo |
| 2 | tbsp | Cocoa |
| 1 | cup | Water |
| 2 | | Eggs |
| 1/2 | cups | Buttermilk |
| | Pecans (optional) |

| Instructions: |
| 1. | Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. |
| 2. | Bring oleo, cocoa and water to a boil in a saucepan and pour over dry ingredients. |
| 3. | Add eggs and buttermilk. |
| 4. | Beat all well. |
| 5. | Grease and flour a 18 x 12 x 1 inch pan. |
| 6. | If desired, drop pecans over cake before baking. |
| 7. | Bake 15 min. at 350 degrees. |
| 8. | Pour frosting on cake immediately after removing it from oven. |
