Ingredients: |
1 | | Round Steak |
1/3 | cups | Flour |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1/4 | tsp | Pepper |
2 | tbsp | Bacon Fat OR Salad Oil |
1 | cup | Mushroom Soup |
1/2 | cups | Water |
|
Instructions: |
1. | Trim fat and brown floured, salted and peppered meat in fat. |
2. | Turn heat down to simmer or place in large flat pan. |
3. | Stir mushroom soup with fork and pour on top of steak. |
4. | Add water carefully around steak |
5. | Seal well with foil and bake at 300 degrees or cover and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours. |
