Lime Pickles

Ingredients:
7lb Pickles, sliced
2 gal Water
3cups Lime
9cups Sugar
3pints Vinegar
2tbsp Salt
2tbsp Celery Seed
2tbsp Cinnamon Buds
 
Instructions:
1.  Combine pickles, water and lime
2.  Let stand 24 hours
3.  Drain and put fresh water on ever hour for 4 hours
4.  Heat sugar, vinegar and spices
5.  Pour over drained pickles
6.  Let stand 12 hours
7.  Simmer 1 1/2 hours
8.  Can while it is hot
