Lime Pickles |

Ingredients: |
7 | lb | Pickles, sliced |
2 gal | | Water |
3 | cups | Lime |
9 | cups | Sugar |
3 | pints | Vinegar |
2 | tbsp | Salt |
2 | tbsp | Celery Seed |
2 | tbsp | Cinnamon Buds |

Instructions: |
1. | Combine pickles, water and lime |
2. | Let stand 24 hours |
3. | Drain and put fresh water on ever hour for 4 hours |
4. | Heat sugar, vinegar and spices |
5. | Pour over drained pickles |
6. | Let stand 12 hours |
7. | Simmer 1 1/2 hours |
8. | Can while it is hot |
