Ingredients: |
4 | cups | Chow Mein Noodles |
1/2 | cups | Light Corn Syrup |
1/2 | cups | Sugar |
3/4 | cups | JIF Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter |
| | Jelly Beans or other Egg-Shaped Candies |
|
Instructions: |
1. | In large mixing bowl, use your hands to break noodles into smaller pieces |
2. | In large saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup |
3. | Cook over med heat until sugar is melted and edges begin to bubble |
4. | Add peanut butter and stir until smooth |
5. | Pour mixture over noodles and toss to coat |
6. | Carefully test for temperature |
7. | With slightly buttered hands, form mixture into tight balls, using about 1/4 cup per ball |
8. | Made indention in center of each ball |
9. | Place on waxed paper and allow to cool completely |
10. | Place 2 or 3 egg candies in each indentation |
