| (One of Grandma's Favorites!) |

| Ingredients: |
| 1/2 | lb | butter (2 sticks) |
| 2 1/4 | cups | brown sugar packed |
| 1 | can | Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed milk |
| 1 | cup | Karo |
| 1 | tsp | vanilla |
| |
| Instructions: |
| 1. | Melt butter on low heat |
| 2. | Add brown sugar and stir until blended with butter |
| 3. | Add eagle brand milk and Karo [put in thermometer] |
| 4. | Cook on medium heat stirring continually until reaches 246 degrees |
| 5. | Take off burner and add vanilla |
| 6. | Stir quickly and pour in 9 x 13 well greased (with butter) cookie sheet |
| 7. | Let cool- cut and wrap in wax paper |
| 8. | Hint: pre-measure everything - usually takes almost an hour to cook. |
