Peach Pie |
(One of Grandma's Favorites!) |

Ingredients: |
29 | oz | can of sliced peaches in heavy syrup |
3/4 | cups | sugar |
2 | tbsp | minute tapioca |
1/2 | cups | peach juice [saved from can] |
4 to 5 | | lumps butter |
| | sprinkle salt |
|
Instructions: |
1. | Drain large can of sliced peaches [save juice] |
2. | add sugar, tapioca, sprinkle of salt |
3. | add not quite 1/2 cup of juice -mix |
4. | let stand for 10 or 15 minutes after mixed |
5. | put in unbaked pie shell, add lumps of butter |
6. | top with pie crust, make "c" in middle |
7. | Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes |
8. | Turn down oven and bake at 375 for 30 to 40 minutes -until bubbles in middle |
