| Ingredients: |
| 4 | cups | sliced apples |
| 1/4 | cups | water |
| 1 | tsp | cinnamon |
| 1/2 | tsp | salt |
| 1 | cup | sugar |
| 3/4 | cups | flour |
| 1/3 | cups | butter, softened |
| |
| Instructions: |
| 1. | Spread apples in 8" square pan |
| 2. | Sprinkle apples with a mixture of water, cinnamon, & salt |
| 3. | Mix sugar, flour, & butter until crumbly and spread over apples |
| 4. | Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees |
| 6. | Recipe can be doubled and baked in a 9 x 13" pan |
