| Crystal Cut Candy |
| (One of Grandma's Favorites!) |

| Ingredients: |
| 4 | cups | sugar |
| 1 | cup | water |
| 1 | cup | Karo |
| dash | | salt |
| 1 dram | | flavoring oil |
| | food coloring |
| | powdered sugar |
| |
| Instructions: |
| 1. | Combine sugar, water, Karo and salt in large sauce pan. |
| 2. | Bring to boil stirring to dissolve. |
| 3. | Cook without stirring to 290 degrees |
| 4. | Set off and add food coloring and flavor of your choice. |
| 5. | Pour in cookie sheet to cool. |
| 6. | As it cools cut into squares and toss in powdered sugar to keep from sticking |
