Chocolate Upside-Down Cake |

Ingredients: |
1 | cup | sifted flour |
3/4 | cups | sugar |
1 1/2 | tbsp | cocoa |
2 | tsp | baking powder |
1/2 | tsp | salt |
2 | tbsp | melted butter |
3/4 | cups | milk |
1 | tsp | vanilla |
3/4 | cups | chopped nuts |
1/2 | cups | chocolate syrup watered down with 1 cup of hot water |

Instructions: |
1. | sift together first five ingredients |
2. | add butter, milk, vanilla, nuts |
3. | stir until mixed |
4. | pour into greased 8x8x2 baking pan |
5. | mix chocolate syrup (watered down) over the batter in the pan |
6. | bake in moderate oven (350 deg) for 35 minutes |
7. | makes 9 servings, great with whip cream or ice cream |
