Chocolate Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients:
1cup sifted flour
3/4cups sugar
1 1/2tbsp cocoa
2tsp baking powder
1/2tsp salt
2tbsp melted butter
3/4cups milk
1tsp vanilla
3/4cups chopped nuts
1/2cups chocolate syrup watered down with 1 cup of hot water
 
Instructions:
1.  sift together first five ingredients
2.  add butter, milk, vanilla, nuts
3.  stir until mixed
4.  pour into greased 8x8x2 baking pan
5.  mix chocolate syrup (watered down) over the batter in the pan
6.  bake in moderate oven (350 deg) for 35 minutes
7.  makes 9 servings, great with whip cream or ice cream
